RR's Chris Morris speaks
Chris Morris: Was a roller-coaster, the last game was pretty tough on us with both bat and ball. But we fought until the last ball, happy with the result, but not so with our performance on the day, but we'll take the points. I haven't played any cricket (between the two IPL phases), a lot of guys have been training hard and we have been lucky that some of our internationals did get to play, but a lot of us haven't played and you saw the rustiness in the last match, especially on the field. But at the end of the day, you need to shake it and perform on the field. It's pretty warm, we did some training this week. But at the end of the day, we are all professionals and need to switch on to combat (the sweat). I have been lucky with some wickets, someone will travel on the day, last match was my turn, but we need to manage as a unit for the team.
Rishabh pant speaks at toss
Rishabh Pant - We were looking to bowl first as well, but it doesn't matter. There will be a bit on the wicket in the day game. One change for us, Lalit Yadav replaces Marcus Stoinis. It's good to be nearing a record, but we're not looking at individual performances, not thinking too much about qualifying.

IPL 2021, DC vs RR: Toss in 30 minutes
Delhi Capitals vs Rajasthan Royals - Toss upcoming in 30 minutes.
DC's Anrich Nortje speaks before toss
Anrich Nortje: It was nice to have that, playing those one day games, that was a big advantage coming here. It did help me quite a bit preparing for the IPL. It's nice bowling with KG (Rabada), his process and what he does at certain stages, it's always nice having him there. It's a day game, so it will be quite hot, let's see how it goes. We need to continue what we've been doing. We need to be clear with our plans. It's quite simple, we need to continue doing what we have done in the previous game.
Pitch Report
“It's pitch number 8, a day game in Abu Dhabi and it will be tough on the players. A new strip, but it's similar to the other surfaces, there is a bit of moisture on the surface. It's firm, but there is no base underneath, need to show intent with the bat and the spinners will dominate. You will not be able to drive on the up, the pacers will be challenging on this surface.”
— Matthew Hayden on Star Sports
Nortje on Stoinis
"So as far as I know, Stonis...we're just waiting for some results. He looks good, he seems to be fine. I just spoke him to this morning. But we're just waiting on some results, I think he's gone for a scan." - Nortje on Stoinis's fitness.
