CBSE class 12th Board exam: Mathematics paper analysis

Today's Mathematics paper was as per the NCERT pattern and the level of difficulty was moderate to difficult. The paper was developed based on the Sample Paper issued by CBSE. Some of the questions were tricky, requiring higher-order thinking skills, particularly those related to Integration and Probability. The question based on linear programming consumed a lot of time for many students. However, the involvement of numerous calculations in many questions made the paper somewhat lengthy to complete. As a result, many students found the question paper to be more challenging than they had expected.

CBSE class 12th paper analysis: Applied Mathematics

The difficulty level was higher than the sample paper, and the distribution of marks of concept was arbitrary. For example, the whole of integration was for only one mark. Since this was the first-ever 80-mark exam in applied mathematics, there was not much clarity about what to expect.

CBSE Board exam: Class 12th Mathematics analysis

Overall, the students had mixed reactions regarding the mathematics paper. Q-18 of set 1 didn't have the correct option. Assertion -Reasoning questions were indirect. A couple of solved examples from NCERT were also there. Section -B had unseen questions. Questions from Probability, Linear Programming and Differential Equations were quite direct and simple.
