There is no age limit to appear for the JEE Mains entrance exam. However, institutes accepting JEE Main score may have an age limit for admitting students.

An official update on JEE Main 2023 date and other details is expected soon.

Till now there is no update on when JEE 2023 Date or notification will be released. Candidates who are waiting to apply for the Joint Entrance Examination 2023 are requested to check the official website for latest updates. 

The entrance test will be held in two sessions and candidates can appear in either one or both. To be eligible for JEE Advanced, candidates will have to be among the top 2.5 lakh candidates in JEE Mains.

Candidates who have passed the class 12/equivalent examination in 2021, 2022 and who are appearing in 2023 can take JEE Main 2023. There is no age limit for appearing in JEE Main but candidates may be required to fulfill the age criteria of institute(s) in which they want to take admission.

Schedules for competitive exams like JEE, NEET and CUET will be announced well in advance, according to UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar.

JEE Main aspirants have asked NTA via social media to conduct the first shift of the entrance test in April so that they get enough time to prepare for it and there is no clash with board exam dates.
