This is the fourth session of JEE main 2021. This year, the exam was held four times; two additional sessions were added to the engineering entrance exam in order to give more time and chances to aspirants.

JEE main result 2021: How to calculate percentile
The percentile score would be based on the relative performance of all the aspirants appearing in the exam. The score would be obtained after transforming the scores into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each session of examinees.
As per the official NTA website, “The Percentile Score indicates the percentage of candidates that have scored equal to or below (same or lower raw scores) that particular Percentile in that examination. Therefore, the topper (highest score) of each session gets the same Percentile of 100 which is desirable. The marks obtained in between the highest and lowest scores are also converted to appropriate Percentiles.”

The minimum academic qualification for appearing in JEE (Advanced) -2021 is that the candidate must have passed in final examination of Class 12 or equivalent qualifying examination with at least 75% aggregate marks (65% for SC, ST, and PwD) or being in the top 20 percentile of the successful candidates in their respective Board examinations. Those appearing in these examinations in 2021 can also appear in JEE (Advanced) - 2021 provisionally and these candidates would also have to fulfill the above requirements.

National Testing Agency (NTA) has established a Query Redressal System (QRS), an online web-enabled system developed by NTA. QRS is the platform based on web technology that primarily aims to enable submission of queries/grievances by the Registered Candidate(s) of JEE (Main)-2021 Examination with (24x7) facility for speedy and favorable redressal of the queries/grievances. A Unique Registration Number will be generated for tracking the status of the queries/grievances. The Registered Candidate(s) are advised to use the online facility for the speedy response.

JEE main 2021: This is the third consecutive year NTA has conducted the exam
Before the national testing agency was finalized for conducting entrance exams, the JEE main was conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The last time CBSE conducted the JEE main exam was in the year 2018.

The first phase JEE Main was held from February 23 to 26, 2021 in which 652627 students had participated. The result of this exam was declared on March 8.
7.09 lakh candidates had appeared for JEE main April session
For the third session exam, which was held in July, a total of 7.09 lakh applications were registered.
National Testing Agency has conducted 72 exams till date
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has successfully conducted 72 examinations since December 2018, Union Minister of Education Dharmendra Pradhan had said on July 26 in reply to a question in the Lok Sabha.
NTA conducts NEET (UG), JEE (Main), UGC-NET, JNUEE, DUET, ICAR-AIEE, IGNOU, CSIR-NET & AISSEE, etc.
