KCET result 2021: Seat allotment soon
Seat allotment for admission to various Professional Courses for the year 2021, will be based on the documents / certificates produced by the eligible candidates. Hence, candidates are advised to be prepared with all the necessary certificates / documents for verification as per their claims made in the online application to claim eligibility and reservation benefits.

During CET-2020, due to COVID-19 pandemic, verification was done through online mode, and students were informed to upload the documents in PDF format thorough KEA Portal. For CET-2021, procedure for verification of documents will be announced on the KEA Website in due course for the information of the candidates, the KEA has said.

Request for re-totaling or revaluation of the OMR answer sheets will not be entertained, as the valuation and the subsequent scoring will be error free, the Karnataka examinations authority has said.
KCET result: Know how to raise objections
Candidates who have any objections in respect of any of the entries or issues or discrepancies in the result sheets, such as discrepancy / changes in the Q. E. marks, version code, NEET / NATA scores etc., except the marks secured in the Common Entrance Test, can submit their objections within three days from the date of publication of the CET - 2021 result and thereafter result will be published for such candidates, the exam authority has said.

KCET result to be released streamwise
Separate result sheets showing the Engineering, Architecture, Farm science, B-Pharm and Pharm-D ranks will be published. The correct answer key and the list of candidates whose results have been withheld and the reasons for withholding the results will also be published along with the results.
KCET result to be decided on the basis of final answer key
The objections received by the KEA, for the provisional answer key, will be placed before an Expert Committee, whose decision will be final for determination of the right answer key. The answer key approved by the Expert Committee will be applied during evaluation for determination of merit order, the KEA has said.

A candidate who had obtained a seat in any discipline through KEA (CET Cell) in any of the previous years and not surrendered the seat before the last date fixed for entry of options for final round of seat allotment for the respective disciplines will not be eligible for allotment of a seat to the same discipline during 2021.

Last year, the KCET result was released in August. Over 1.4 lakh candidates had registered for the exam. KCET 2020 was conducted on July 30 and 31 after the Bengaluru High Court dismissed the plea filed by students for the postponement of exam in view of Covid-19.

Karnataka Examinations Authority had postponed the Karnataka CET exam due to a surge in COVID 19 cases. The examination was scheduled to be held on July 7 and 8.
