Seat allotment for admission to various Professional Courses for the year 2021, will be based on the documents / certificates produced by the eligible candidates. Hence, candidates are advised to be prepared with all the necessary certificates / documents for verification as per their claims made in the online application to claim eligibility and reservation benefits.

During CET-2020, due to COVID-19 pandemic, verification was done through online mode, and students were informed to upload the documents in PDF format thorough KEA Portal. For CET-2021, procedure for verification of documents will be announced on the KEA Website in due course for the information of the candidates, the KEA has said.

Request for re-totaling or revaluation of the OMR answer sheets will not be entertained, as the valuation and the subsequent scoring will be error free, the Karnataka examinations authority has said.

Candidates who have any objections in respect of any of the entries or issues or discrepancies in the result sheets, such as discrepancy / changes in the Q. E. marks, version code, NEET / NATA scores etc., except the marks secured in the Common Entrance Test, can submit their objections within three days from the date of publication of the CET - 2021 result and thereafter result will be published for such candidates, the exam authority has said.

Candidates have been asked to check the KCET result on the website. Result sheets will not be displayed in the KEA premises

Separate result sheets showing the Engineering, Architecture, Farm science, B-Pharm and Pharm-D ranks will be published. The correct answer key and the list of candidates whose results have been withheld and the reasons for withholding the results will also be published along with the results.

The objections received by the KEA, for the provisional answer key, will be placed before an Expert Committee, whose decision will be final for determination of the right answer key. The answer key approved by the Expert Committee will be applied during evaluation for determination of merit order, the KEA has said.

A candidate who had obtained a seat in any discipline through KEA (CET Cell) in any of the previous years and not surrendered the seat before the last date fixed for entry of options for final round of seat allotment for the respective disciplines will not be eligible for allotment of a seat to the same discipline during 2021.

Reservation of seats in certain categories such as Rural, Kannada etc and in Special Categories like NCC, Sports etc are applicable only to Karnataka candidates who are eligible for Government seats and Government Quota seat

As per the seat matrix issued by the Government, the seat allotment to the above mentioned courses will be done ONLINE in the order of merit / rank obtained in 2021 CET / NEET / NATA / JEE-Paper-2 as applicable, and based on the options entered by the candidates through KEA Web-portal.

KCET ranks will be assigned on the basis of the marks obtained PCM or PCB subjects in CET examination only; however this is applicable for this academic year 2021-22 only.

Last year, the KCET result was released in August. Over 1.4 lakh candidates had registered for the exam. KCET 2020 was conducted on July 30 and 31 after the Bengaluru High Court dismissed the plea filed by students for the postponement of exam in view of Covid-19.

Karnataka Examinations Authority had postponed the Karnataka CET exam due to a surge in COVID 19 cases. The examination was scheduled to be held on July 7 and 8.

The provisional answer keys of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology paper was released on the official website of KEA at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in after the completion of the exam.

Karnataka CET result will be declared today, September 20, at 4 pm, state higher education minister CN Ashwathnarayan said on Sunday in a tweet. The KCET result will be available on the official website https://cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea.
