Kerala reports 30,203 fresh Covid-19 cases, and 115 fatalities
Kerala recorded as many as 30,203 new coronavirus cases along with 20,687 recoveries and 115 deaths in the last 24 hours, according to the state health bulletin. The total recoveries has reached 38,17,004, while the death toll stands at 20,788. The state has 2,18,892 active cases and a test positivity rate of 18.86 per cent.
First diplomatic meeting between India and Taliban happened today in Doha: MEA
In a first, the Ambassador of India to Qatar, Deepak Mittal, met Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanekzai, the head of Taliban’s Political Office in Doha, on Tuesday. The meeting took place at the Embassy of India, Doha, on the request of the Taliban side. According to a statement issued by the Union ministry of external affairs (MEA), discussions focused on the safety, security and early return of Indian nationals stranded in Afghanistan. Furthermore, the travel of Afghan nationals, especially minorities, who wish to visit to India also came up.
