1 dead, 6 injured in 'mysterious blast' in J&K's Kupwara district,
One girl died while six other members of the family were injured after a mysterious blast occurred in a house in Taratpora, Handwara area of Kupwara district of north Kashmir. Police said they are verifying the cause of the blast and have started an investigation. More details awaited.

Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman said on Thursday that the Union cabinet has approved a government guarantee of ₹30,600 crores for security receipts issued by the National Asset Reconstruction Company Limited (NACRL).
The NARCL will pay up to 15% of the agreed value for the loans in cash and the remaining 85 per cent would be government-guaranteed security receipts.
