Aamir Khan played a father to two young teenaged girls in Dangal, whom he trains to be match-winning wrestlers. It seems daughter Ira has taken a leaf from their book.

Aamir Khan, who was in Coonoor in Tamil Nadu to celebrate his cousin Mansoor Khan’s 60th birthday, is enjoying some fun moments with family. After he posted pictures of his wife Kiran Rao, son Azad and others on Twitter, a picture of him with his daughter Ira has surfaced online.

In the picture, Ira is sitting on her father’s chest, as though she has beaten him in a wrestling dual. Aamir lies partially on his back, relying on his left elbow for support. Ira is wearing a pair of black shorts and sleeveless T-shirt while Aamir too is in a black and grey combo.

The picture is reminiscent of his film Dangal which also had sequences in which Aamir, playing dad to his two young daughters, was seen practising wrestling with them.

Aamir also shared other photos from the family holiday where Mansoor can be seen cutting a cake and the group feasting on home-cooked food. The family also enjoyed some sunshine while Aamir’s son Azad befriended the farm cat.

On the work front, Aamir is busy shooting for his next, Thugs of Hindostan, where he will be seen playing a conniving criminal.

Speaking to South China Morning Post, Aamir had said, “Thugs of Hindostan is a big action-adventure film. There’s no message in that. I am playing a character who cannot be trusted at all - [so it’s the] very opposite of Dangal... He’s a very slippery character. He has no scruples at all - for money he can sell his mother out. He’s like that.”

“But [the character] is a very entertaining guy. So it’s a very entertaining kind of a film. No message this time. Just have a good time,” he had added.

Thugs of Hindostan also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh. It is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, who has earlier directed Tashan and Dhoom 3.
