A 20-year-old student was allegedly pushed out of a car after being abducted by a man on Monday. Police sources said Mona accused Randeep of robbing her of her mobile phone and Activa Honda scooter (CH-01-AK-9130) when she was returning from her class at a private institute in Sector 47. She alleged that Randeep later came in a black Alto car (CH-01-AF-7331) and bundled her into his car. Mona said he later pushed her out of the car close to Sector 34.

Mona was medically examined, which confirmed deep injuries on her knees. Investigation officer Randhir Singh said prima facie it appeared the two were known to each other. He said the car registration number would help them track the boy. A case under sections 392 (robbery), 363 (kidnapping), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 506 (criminal intimidation) of IPC has been registered at Sector 31 police station.

Police said as per preliminary investigations, Mona had complained to the police against Randeep in July and Monday's act seemed to be that of revenge.
Police said the accused was the son of a prominent sweets shop owner in Sector 46.
