Teachers’ eligibilty test to be held tomorrow

Punjab education minister Dr Daljit Singh Cheema on Friday sought foolproof arrangements regarding traffic and security for the teachers’ eligibility test (TET) on August 24 at 400 centres across the state.

The minister has written to the state’s senior police officers concerned in this regard, a spokesman said here.

The state has set up 400 exam centres for 1.83 lakh students appearing in the test. TET-1 would be conducted from 10:30am to 1:30pm for ETT-pass teachers and TET-2 from 2:30pm to 5pm for BEd-pass teachers.



A state-level toll-free helpline (18601801814) has been set up.
