“After we gave a presentation about the investment options available in areas around the Noida International Greenfield Airport project along the Yamuna Expressway, many businessmen signed memorandums of understanding totaling 6,300 crore. We have invited businessmen interested in investing in Uttar Pradesh to visit the region and set up their business. We hope that the visit will help attract investors to this region,” said Singh.

“Around 10 manufacturers have signed MOUs with us at this event in Nagpur and these investors are mostly from Japan. We assured the investors that we will ensure industry friendly atmosphere and provide single window clearance to them so that they can set up their units with ease,” added Singh.

Among the proposals were from Japanese manufacturers who make chips for medical devices, cardio respiratory device RTPCR machine, RTPCR kit, IVD equipment, reagents, ultrasound machine and refrigerators and bio-safety cabinets, among other products, said officials.

“After interaction with experts and manufacturers of pharmacy equipment, we have decided to develop a pharma formulation cluster on 100 acres of land, dedicating a sector to this industry. We will encourage manufacturers from different cities and abroad to invest in units along the 165km Yamuna Expressway that connects Greater Noida with Agra,” said Singh.

Yeida explained to investors about the different projects such as Film City, Heritage City near Vrindavan, Logistics Park, textile park and medical device park.
