Anupam Kher sings with Amrish Puri about bald people in old video. Watch

Actor Anupam Kher has shared a throwback video also featuring late actor Amrish Puri as they sang a song together at an event. Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, Anupam posted the old clip in which he sang a track talking about baldness and making fun of it. Both of the actors laughed in the clip. In the video, Anupam kept his hand around Amrish Puri's shoulder as they sang together. The video ended with Anupam saying, "Yeh pessimistic attitude hai, doston (This is a pessimistic attitude, friends)..." For the show, Anupam wore a white shirt, grey suit, and pants. Amrish wore a dark outfit.

Anupam captioned the post, "Yaadon ke pulindon se: bahut saal pehle ek stage show mein ye gaana gaya tha!! Ganje logon ka mazaaq udaaya tha. Amrish ji ki muskurahat mein kitna bholaapan tha (From the bundles of memories: This song was sung in a stage show many years back!! I made fun of bald people. There was so much innocence in Amrish ji's smile)!!!"

He also added, "Yeh filmon mein rishton ka golden period tha! Rishte aasaani se ban jaate the. Aur zindagi bhar ke liye chalte the (This was the golden period of relationships in films! Relationships were easily formed. And used to go on for life)!!" Anupam also posted red heart emojis. The actor added the hashtags--Amrish Puri, Anupam Kher, song and fun.

Reacting to the clip, actor Mahima Chaudhry commented, "Apse hum ne bhi himmat li (I also took courage from you)." She recently lost her hair due to cancer treatment and chemotherapy. A fan said, "Sir, this industry has spoken least about late Amrish Puri ji, I genuinely feel he has not been given due credit... I would request you to please once make a small live here to narrate something about him. As an actor, as a human, behind the scenes with Amrish ji..." Anupam responded, "Will surely do!!" "Two legendary actors forever favourite," read a comment.

Anupam and Amrish worked in many films such as Ram Lakhan and Tridev (1989), Aaj Ka Arjun (1990), Saudagar and Trinetra (1991), Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995), Doli Saja Ke Rakhna and China Gate (1998), Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke (2000), Jaal: The Trap (2003), Garv: Pride & Honour (2004) among many others.

Amrish, one of the finest actors in the Indian film industry, made his acting debut in Prem Pujari in 1970. He became one of the most credible actors with his roles as Mogambo in Mr India, Jagavar in Vidhaata, Balwant Rai in Ghayal, Barrister Chadda in Damini and Thakur Durjan Singh in Karan Arjun. He also played the iconic role of Baldev Singh, a strict father in DDLJ.

Fans will see Anupam in The Vaccine War, helmed by Vivek Agnihotri. It is all set to hit the theatres on Independence Day 2023 in 11 languages. Apart from this, he also has Kangana Ranaut's Emergency and The Signature in the pipeline.
