Day 1 of the grand finale of Hindustan Times Youth Nexus, saw the best of the lot compete with each other to be the ultimate winner. The competition reached another level as students gave mind blowing performances.

The day saw the finals of Campus Jive — the Western Dance Competition and Showstoppers — the Fashion show competition. While Zeal from Maitreyi College, won Campus Jive, it was GLITZ from Kamala Nehru College, with their theme Eco Aesthetica, who were declared the winners of Showstoppers. The star attraction of the event was the power-packed performance by Indian rapper Hard Kaur, who got the students asking for more. Afflatus, the all-girl rock band from Shillong, also enthralled the audience with their performance.
