The promo started with Mika sitting on a couch and grooving along to his song Dhinka Chika from the 2011 film Ready, and talking to his pet dog about the need for a life partner. “London ho, Paris ho, ya Jhumri Telaiya...Tujhe pata hai, kitni shaadiyan aur partiyan hoti hain. aur mere hi gaano pe lakho rishte aur kadoron dil judte hain. Lekin maine kabhi socha hi nahi ki mere dil ke connection ka kya. (Be it London, Paris, or Jhumri Telaiya. So many weddings and parties take place, and lakhs and crores of relations are made over my songs. But I never thought what would happen to my heart)."

He then climbs down from the couch to talk to his dog, and says, mere dost main soch raha hu ki soni kudi labke na, usko apni life partner bana lu. Kya bolta hai (My friend, I am thinking I would find a pretty girl and make her my life partner. What do you say)?"

As his dog barks at him and leaves, Mika says, Oh hello, sun to. seriously bol raha hu yaar (I am serious)." A voiceover follows in which Mika says, "koi na jaane ye akelapan, koi na samjhe ye tanhaiyaan. Jab wo aayegi, tab bajegi, meri bhi shehnaiyaan (no one understands this loneliness, when she comes, wedding bells would ring for me as well)."

Mika is then dressed as a groom in a sherwani and holding a jaimala (flower garland) in his hands, while he looks at an empty chair next to him.

Mika is the fourth Indian celebrity who is looking for a life partner on a reality show. Rakhi Sawant met her prospective grooms on Rakhi Ka Swayamvar in 2009, and got engaged to Canadian businessman Elesh Punjwani, but they called off their relationship later. In 2010, Rahul Mahajan married Dimpy Ganguli on the reality show, Rahul Dulhania Le Jaayega, but they parted ways in 2015 after Dimpy filed for divorce alleging domestic violence. TV actor Ratan Rajpoot also chose Abhinav Sharma as her life partner on Ratan Ka Rishta, but their relationship didn’t last long either.
