It is alleged that the coach conductor did not offer to help the woman when she complained to him. However, two railway police personnel were aboard the train who passed on the information to the Agra station where the four were arrested.

‘The woman lodged a complaint at Agra Cantt and a case was registered under section 354 of Indian Penal Code for eve teasing. These four were identified as Waseem, Vijay, Vivekanand and Anand all travelling from Delhi for Betul in Madhya Pradesh,” said Mani Kant, the police officer in-charge at the station when the incident was reported.
