DMK president and former Tamil Nadu chief minister M Karunanidhi passed away at Kauvery Hospital in Chennai on Tuesday evening. He was 94.The hospital said the DMK chief passed away at 6:10pm on Tuesday despite best efforts to resuscitate him. Karunanidhi had been under treatment at the hospital for the last 10 days.
