At 84-3, Uttar Pradesh bank on the in-form Suresh Raina to take the team to a position of strength. In the morning, Kaif asked debutant seamers Mohd Abid Khan and Sudeep Tyagi to share the new ball, ahead of experienced seamer Ratnesh Mishra. And the trick worked. Tyagi bowled two devastating spells, taking 6-46 on debut to rout Orissa.
