Arms and ammunitions were recovered from him, official sources said on Monday.

Acting on a tip-off, the Army held an encounter with the terrorists in Sirkant area of Doda district late Sunday night, they said.
In the encounter one LeT terrorist Shabir Ahmed was killed while the other terrorists managed to flee the spot, they said.
Recoveries included one AK rifle, two magazines, some grenades, one mobile phone set and an identity card.
