Kataria said Shekhawat assured them to listen to their problems related to quota.

"The Vice President has said that he would discuss the matter with the President at the time of the quota bill to come up in Parliament in monsoon session," she said.

However, the Vice President asked the doctors to work for poor patients and utilize the maximum grants or funds for this human service, Kataria said.

No memorandum was submitted to the Vice President, Kataria said.

Meanwhile, the resident doctors' indefinite strike continued in all five medical colleges of Rajasthan affecting healthcare services.
