Given the frequency of terrorist attacks that are occurring now, all public places should be under camera surveillance to help review footages to track potential terrorists.

Every time a terrorist attack takes place, the authorities announce that there is a ‘red alert’. Given the frequency of terrorist attacks that are occurring now, we should be on red alert 24 hours a day. All public places should be under camera surveillance to help review footages to track potential terrorists. Access to mobile phones should come under scrutiny before activation. Mobile phones seem to be the preferred mode of instrument to activate bombs by the terrorists. Eternal vigilance is the price we have to pay for a democratic and secular society.

The Hyderabad blast is the result of a liberal attitude of the government. The government should check the entry of foreign nationals who have got nationality during last 10 years and sent them back to their respective countries. This is the practical solution for minimising such brutal attacks as these people are dangerous for country’s security and peace because they indulge in criminal activities. The government and politicians shall act in this manner.

We should become more vigilant, having better intelligence inputs, resolving internal conflicts like Naxalism, Ulfa through dialogue and above all sealing our borders.
