Two LeT terrorists killed in J&K gunbattle

The two were hiding inside a house in the state's Pampore town where they were killed by 50 Rashtriya Rifles' troops.
Two Lashker-e-Taiba terrorists holed up inside a house in Jammu and Kashmir's Pampore town have been killed after a prolonged gunbattle with security forces, police said on Monday.
Police said troops of 50 Rashtriya Rifles surrounded the house in Pampore, 20 km from Srinagar, late on Sunday and came under heavy fire from the two hiding LeT terrorists.

"The fire was returned and in the heavy firing exchanges that continued till late, two LeT men were killed," said a senior police official.
The house in which the men were hiding was completely destroyed and arms and ammunition, including two AK-47 rifles, were seized.
