Venkaiah favours organisational reshuffle in BJP
BJP president today said he was in consultation with senior leaders for an organisational reshuffle following the party's debacle in polls.
BJP president M Venkaiah Naidu on Sunday said he was in for an organisational reshuffle following the party's massive defeat in the Lok Sabha polls and was in consultation with senior party leaders.
'We have to form a national executive and appoint office bearers. We will be shortly reconstituting both the bodies', he told reporters at the airport before leaving for Hyderabad.
He said earlier some of the party leaders were in the Government but later they were available to the party. 'I have to utilise their talent and will give representation to all the states', he said.
He wished good luck to the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance Government and said 'too many' politicians who had not won in the Lok Sabha polls have been inducted in the cabinet.
'Too many politicians who were rejected have been selected. Let us see what is going to happen', he said and expressed the hope that the new Government would manage the affairs of the country.
