Since 1989, the Bhind Lok Sabha constituency has consistently voted for the BJP.

In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, BJP’s Dr Bhagirath Prasad had defeated the Congress candidate Imarti Devi by a margin of 1,59,961 votes.

This time around, the BJP is fielding Sandhya Rai as its candidate for the Bhind Lok Sabha constituency.

The general elections will be held across India in seven phases beginning April 11 and the counting of votes will take place on May 23.
