The owner of a sweetmeat shop was booked for allegedly hurting religious sentiments of a Sikh employee after he got irritated over his upturned moustache and forcibly cut off a part of it on Sunday, said police. The employee, who worked as a cashier, also alleged that his boss crushed the cut off moustache under his feet and threatened him.

He stated that on Sunday, when he was working at the cash counter, Gupta came to him and asked him to “lower” his moustache. When he refused, Gupta started threatening him and asked Parveen to bring a pair of scissors.
