6 dead, 21 missing in landslide in southwest China

The official Xinhua News Agency said 77 houses collapsed or were buried in the Wednesday night landslide in the village of Yingping in Guizhou province. Xinhua says another 21 people were injured in the landslide.
Chinese state media reported that six people have died and 21 remain missing after a landslide hit a village in southwestern China.

State television network CCTV said Thursday that a small reservoir was breached during the landslide, and the flooding caused further damage to the village.
The channel showed dozens of rescuers combing a wide site covered in dried mud.
