Prime Minister Manmohan Singh left Singapore on Wednesday for home after attending the India-ASEAN summit.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh left Singapore on Wednesday for home after attending the India-ASEAN summit during which he proposed a simplified visa regime for businessmen to travel between the two regions and set up an ambitious bilateral trade target of USD 50 billion by 2010.
Singh will fly to the Ugandan capital of Kampala for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) beginning on Friday after attending the morning session of Parliament in Delhi on Thursday.

On the sidelines of the summit in Singapore, the prime minister met his counterparts from China and Japan and discussed bilateral, regional and international issues of common interest.
