At present four systems are responsible for bringing excessive rain in the state. One over Western Madhya Pradesh, while others over neighboring states of Madhya Pradesh.
The monsoon trough line is also passing close to Gwalior and Panna districts of the state, said official of Regional Meteorological Centre Bhopal.
MeT office has released warning for heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places over Ujjain division and Rajgarh district in next 24 hours. Warning for heavy rainfall has been also released for Bhopal, Indore, Vidisha, Guna, Ashoknagar and Sheopur districts.
Meanwhile, several parts of the state witnessed heavy rainfall on Friday too. Several streams and nullahs in Rajgarh, Shajapur, Sehore and Vidisha districts were in spate due to heavy rainfall in these districts.
Sehore remained worst affected district in the state where around 19 deaths have occurred due to heavy rainfall. More than 1800 houses in this district have been destroyed this monsoon. State government has established six relief camps to rescue residents of this district.
State capital also witnessed heavy rainfall on Friday which began in the afternoon and continued till late night. Bhopal witnessed 24 mm rainfall on Friday with few heavy spells.
MeT office has predicted similar conditions will prevail over the city for next couple of days. Warning of very heavy rainfall in the state capital has been also released.
