Guess who is more popular in the US — President Barack Obama or Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi? No prize for guessing if one has a similar view as that of Union minister Ananth Kumar.

Guess who is more popular in the US — President Barack Obama or Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi? No prize for guessing if one has a similar view as that of Union chemical and fertilizer minister Ananth Kumar.

In his eyes, Modi is more popular than Obama in the US. Addressing a BJP workers gathering at BHEL Dussehra Maidan on Thursday evening, Ananth Kumar cited PM Modi’s speech at New York’s Central Park and said Modi proved more popular than Obama in the US.

Ananth said he considered chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan his role model. When he (Ananth) came to MP 10 years ago, he found the roads in a bad shape. Digvijay Singh had pushed the state to backwardness, he said. But, now, Chouhan had taken the state to the height of a leading state in the country, he added.
