Akshay Kumar grooves to Ali Ali in cameo for Karan Kapadia’s Blank song. Watch video

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar makes a smashing cameo in a special song for the film Blank, starring wife Twinkle Khanna’s cousin Karan Kapadia. Titled Ali Ali, the song was released online Thursday afternoon.

Sharing the song, Akshay tweeted, “The message is loud, and clear to the supreme being who will save us from all evil in the end. #AliAliFromBlank Song OUT NOW!” Akshay can be seen wearing a scarf and dark glasses in the video.

Karan had earlier said at a wrap party of the film, “Akshay and Twinkle told me to give my best. They told me it’s going to be hard and ‘you have to be confident with whatever you do’. But when they watched rushes of the film, they felt confident of me and told me just to focus on my work.”

“I am a first-time actor, Behzad Khambata is a new director and you need someone of that kind of experience. It also helps you workwise. They have loyal, die-hard fans and that too helps in getting attention. From being a kid on his sets, when he was at the peak of his career, to now sharing a frame with him, it was all surreal. I was very nervous when I was doing the first scene with him. I can say that he elevates the film to another level, his presence just adds up,” he said.

The story of Blank revolves around the life of a suicide bomber, played by Karan. It also stars Sunny Deol.

Last seen in the blockbuster period film Kesari, Akshay has completed the shooting for Good News along with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani. Akshay also has two more films in the pipeline -- Mission Mangal with Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu and Tamil actor Nithya Menen and Housefull 4, being directed by Farhad Samji.
