Deepika and Ranveer tied the knot in Italy’s Lake Como in November, 2018. They were married in dual wedding ceremonies in accordance with Hindu and Sindhi traditions. The couple kept the wedding under wraps and only announced their relationship a few weeks before tying the knot. They had been together for six years.

Deepika’s last film was the historical epic Padmaavat, which also starred Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer, whose performance as the villainous Alaudin Khilji was acclaimed. Ranveer, meanwhile, delivered back-to-back hits with Simmba and Gully Boy. After ‘83, the actor will begin work on director Karan Johar’s period drama Takht, which also stars Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Anil Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar.
