The actor had on Thursday shared a quirky clip he made using an Instagram filter on his story. “Here I come madam,” the actor wrote. A few moments later, Shahid shared another picture in which he is seen grooming the hair of his wax statue and wrote, “Baal sambhal munna”.

Shahid will soon be seen in Kabir Singh, in which he plays an aggressive medical student with serious anger management issues. The movie is a Hindi remake of Telugu hit Arjun Reddy and has been helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Murad Khetani, Krishan Kumar and Ashwin Varde.

Kabir Singh will hit the big screens on June 21. Speaking about his film, Shahid has said that he hoped his film gets a U/A certificate. He told PTI, “We are hoping to get a U/A certificate. We don’t know if we will or not. We believe there is no reason for us not to get a U/A certificate. I think it is important that today we are able to tell stories honestly, without sugar-coating them. The audience is mature enough to understand that. I think the censor board should also pay heed to that. There is nothing that is off putting in this film, it is an honest depiction.”
