Munna Michael actor Nidhhi Agerwal: Tiger Shroff never tries to overshadow his heroines

Actor Nidhhi Agerwal says that Tiger Shroff is unlike actors who sideline their leading ladies and eat into their screen space.

Actor Nidhhi Agerwal’s debut film, Munna Michael, opposite Tiger Shroff, might have tanked at the box office. Yet, she has only praises for her co-actor, who used to help her with the minutest of things on the set.

Nidhhi says, “He always supported me with this feeling in mind that when he was new, he was in the same place [as me]. So whenever I was stuck, he came to my rescue. For instance, I didn’t know the meaning of a mark or how to face lighting, how to keep your eyes open in the sun. Plus there are reflectors, so I knew nothing. I would be just lost and clueless and Tiger would always help me.”

Asked if there were any apprehensions when she was signed to play the lead role opposite Tiger, who was fairly a popular name, Nidhhi says it was rather an added advantage.

“He is definitely stronger than me in terms of popularity but I looked at it in a positive way. Now, if I would have done some other film, only 50 would have watched me. So, isn’t a hundred better?” she asks.

In his previous films, Tiger has been paired alongside Kriti Sanona in Heropanti (2014), Shraddha Kapoor in Baaghi (2016) and Jacqueline Fernandez in A Flying Jatt (2016).

And joining the list of his co-stars, Nidhhi adds that Tiger never intends to overshadow his leading ladies. She says, “I know some actors are very selfish and they want their face on the camera and their heroine’s back and they do a lot of petty things to screw other actor’s screen space. But, Tiger is not like that. He takes you with him. So, I never had this fear while working with him,” shares Nidhhi, adding that “dedication and passion for work” were the two things that she learned from Tiger while shooting with him for the film.
