National Film Awards 2019 highlights: Vicky, Ayushmann win Best Actor, Surekha Sikri receives Best Supporting Actress award

Vice President Venkaiah Naidu distributed the National Film Awards at the Vigyan Bhawan this year. Among those honoured at the event are Bollywood actors Vicky Kaushal and Ayushmann Khurrana, who shared the Best Actor Award for their films Uri: The Surgical Strike and Andhadhun, respectively. President Ram Nath Kovind will reportedly host a high tea for the winners on December 29. Amitabh Bachchan, who could not attend the ceremony on Monday, will be honoured at the event.

Chinmayi Sripaada congratulated Rahul Ravindran for winning the National Award for Best Original Screenplay for his directorial debut film, Chi La Sow.
