New Sanju poster introduces Dia Mirza as Sanjay Dutt’s supportive wife Maanayata

Rajkumar Hirani is on a poster-sharing spree on social media. After revealing several posters feature Ranbir Kapoor, introducing character posters for Anushka Sharma, Sonam Kapoor and Manisha Koirala, he has also shared the poster featuring Dia Mirza.

In this biopic on Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, Dia plays his wife Maanayata. On the poster, she is seen with her sunglasses on her head and reminds us a lot of Sanjay’s very supportive wife who stood by him through thick and thin.

“And here comes Dia Mirza as Maanayata, someone whose stood by #Sanju through thick and thin. #RanbirKapoor @deespeak #RajkumarHiraniFilms @foxstarhindi @VVCFilms,” Hirani captioned the post on Twitter.

Dia was asked about her excitement over the film to which she replied: “We are all very excited for Sanju and we can’t wait for the ( promotional) campaign to unveil. the trailer will be out soon and everyone will see it together,” she said.

The film also stars Paresh Rawal, Vicky Kaushal, Boman Irani and Jim Sarbh. It releases on June 29.
