No Kareena Kapoor cameo in Golmaal Again, Rohit Shetty confirms
Director Rohit Shetty has confirmed that Kareena Kapoor won’t be seen in a cameo role in his upcoming film, Golmaal Again. The movie features Tabu and Parineeti Chopra.
Bollywood actor Kareena Kapoor Khan, who was seen in Golmaal 2, will not be featured in Golmaal Again, the fourth in the comedy series directed by Rohit Shetty. Confirming that Kareena does not have any cameo in the upcoming movie, Rohit told Asian Age, “If I have to, will do a wholesome film with Kareena, why a cameo?”
Talking about Parineeti Chopra, who makes her debut in Golmaal series, Rohit added, “It’s a different story altogether. When you see the film, you’ll understand. It’s not a suspense element. I’ll reveal the story if we say why we needed a girl like Parineeti.”
Bollywood actors Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Khemu and Shreyas Talpade return with Golmaal Again.Tabu and Parineeti Chopra is the latest entry to the franchise. Neil Nitin Mukesh is also likely to feature in the movie.
Rohit Shetty began his hit comedy series in 2006 with Ajay Devgn, Rimi Sen, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor and Sharman Joshi. With the audience lapping up the caper, Rohit came up with two sequels - Golmaal Returns (2008) and Golmaal 3 (2010), both featuring Ajay, Arshad, Tusshar and Kareena Kapoor. Golmaal Again is the fourth in the series.
