Actor Sunny Leone, recently hit headlines when she was quoted as saying that she doesn’t like being compared to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The comaprisons came about after Sunny danced to a number in her last film, which was similar to Ash’s Dholi Taaro song in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999).

When we caught up with her recently, a furious Sunny said that she never made this statement. “I understand it’s marketing and many stories are written so that people read their tabloid or gossip columns or whatever. But it drives me crazy when someone writes a story that I don’t like being compared to Aishwarya Rai. I never said that. I was so shocked to see that article,” she says, adding that she is, in fact, extremely fond of Aishwarya. “I think she is one of the most beautiful women in the universe. She is a legend. I mean, when a foreigner comes here and you ask them about that one person they want to know about, even if they dont know her name, they want to know about “that woman with blue eyes”. And she’s so talented. I have a long way to go before I can even think of saying stuff like that,” says the actor, who made her Bollywood film debut with Jism 2 (2012).

The 33-year-old shared with us that she is tired of being misquoted. “People write all sort of crazy stories about me. I mean, every single day there’s some crazy story about me. If I had started worrying about them, I would have probably packed my bags and left for the US already,” she says, adding, “This is what happens all the time. I think people have selective hearing. They want to hear what they want to write about.”
