"The investigation is still at a very preliminary stage," observed judge DA Dholakiya, while adjourning the case till August 20.

Tuli's lawyer Filji Ferdrick argued that his client and his family members were available for investigation and had cooperated with the police so far, so they need not be arrested.

Ferdrick also contended that Mookhey was living separately for the past one year and there was no explanation as to why she filed the complaint so late.

Mookhey's lawyer told the court her phone was in Tuli's possession and it had some videos of the couple, which she fears he might make public.
