Celebrity photographer Sahil Rohira impresses with his edgy work

If you look at celebrity photographer Sahil Rohira’s website, you will find that his work borders on the edgy and bohemian styles. No wonder that young Bollywood actors and actresses are singing paeans for him. Rohira, who has worked with the industry names like Gulshan Grover, R. Madhavan, Monica Dogra, Abhimanyu Dasani, Neetu Chandra and musician duo – Armaan and Amaal Malik, has been creating waves with his work.
The latest celebrity to join Rohira’s fanbase is actress Pooja Batra. Pooja is all praises for Sahil’s work as a photographer and she says, “Sahil is great to work with. He is so organized, clear in his head and is pretty quick with his work. He is super creative and some of my best pictures are shot by him!” Pooja couldn’t stop herself from adding further, “his vision for a picture is fabulous. I like how he knows exactly what he wants and is able to execute that flawlessly in the photographs.”
Sahil’s unique thought process behind the camera lens is validated in each and every photograph of his, which he proudly displays on his website. Each frame oozes with confidence and a carefree look.
No wonder then that Sahil has also been honoured with the ‘Young Emerging Photographer of the Year’ award for the year 2019 at the GGA last year. The award was presented to him by superstar Preity Zinta. On being honoured, Sahil said, “I am very humbled and honored to have been chosen as the emerging photographer of the year.”
He adds, “photography has been my passion for as long as I can remember. Life behind the lens is what brings me joy.’ Speaking about his journey so far, Sahil says, “photography has been an integral part of my life since I was 16. Toying around with the camera has led me to take my passion forward & shoot with some equally passionate individuals from all over the world from the film & fashion industry.”
