The ‘digital nomad’ feels that nature is one of the most beautiful gifts we have inherited from our ancestors and it is our responsibility to keep it unharmed for our future generations.

Everything is becoming sustainable in today’s world, so why should tourism be any different! A promising travel blogger Sahib Singh believes so. In fact travelling responsibly is what he seriously believes in doing. This ‘digital nomad’ feels that nature is one of the most beautiful gifts we have inherited from our ancestors and it is our responsibility to keep it unharmed for our future generations.

Apart from that, he insists on what his father taught him about travelling. His father told Sahib that ‘life is like travelling; people often forget to enjoy the journey.’ He adds to his father’s philosophy by saying, “Travelling for me is like meditation; it helps me be happy, and in my opinion, we should always do what makes us happy.”

In fact, Sahib has made a profession out of travelling. Hailing from the small yet picturesque town of Mandi in Himachal Pradesh, he began travelling as an aspiring badminton player. About those days, Sahib says, “I used to travel a lot as a sportsperson, deep down I knew how much I enjoyed it, but after matches, we would hardly get a chance to know anything about the place. I always wanted to take photographs and write about places where I travel. The idea of becoming a travel blogger had always fascinated me. I already knew that travel blogging is a viable career option and that’s how I decided to become a travel blogger.”

That is how he became one of the promising travel bloggers in India. In fact, his Instagram handle, @travellingindian, with close to 30K followers, is proof of his close relationship with nature and travelling.

He is a graduate from Delhi University, has played badminton at national level and also holds an advanced scuba diving certification.

So far, he has travelled to countries like Egypt, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, etc.

But along with travelling for fun, Sahib believes that we should also realise the negative impact of our carelessness on the places of travel. By being irresponsible about our habits, we damage the ecosystem of the place we visit. That is why, perhaps, his main aim is ‘to promote eco-friendly and responsible tourism through my blogs.”

His unique skills as a photographer add to his travel journeys that he keeps sharing with his followers on social media. With many more destinations to go to in his future, this travel blogger is on the right path of life!
