Sensex back in the green, up 48 points

The Sensex, which had lost 87.64 points in early trading, staged comeback to quote 48.96 points higher at 15,614.51 points at 1045 hours.
Likewise, the National Stock Exchange index Nifty was up by 10.75 points at 4,576.80 after declining to 4,547.20 at the outset.
Stock brokers said reports of recovery in Asian markets, triggered fresh buying by foreign funds, helping Sensex to recover the early losses.
Major support came in from stocks such as Reliance Industries, Reliance Communications, BHEL, Grasim Industries, HDFC Bank, Larsen and Toubro, ONGC, Satyam Computers, Reliance Energy and Reliance Capital and Tata Steel.
