The response to both workshop and CME were encouraging from both dermatologists and pathologists. Organising secretary Dr Dipankar De, organising chairpersons Dr Sanjeev Handa and Dr RK Vasishta said the response was overwhelming and more than 250 delegates had registered so far.

The workshop topics have been chosen to include common and relevant issues that a dermatologist faces regularly. The CME topics include acne, hand eczema, atopic dermatitis, hemangiomas and psoriasis, which are common chronic conditions associated with significant distress and need multidisciplinary care.

There has been rapid development in understanding the pathogenesis and effectively managing these chronic diseases. These recent developments are scheduled to be discussed.
