CBSE 12th results: Newspaper vendor’s son makes it to the top by sheer grit
Determined to score big, the son of a humble newspaper vendor realized his dream by securing 93.6% marks in commerce in the CBSE class 12 exams, the results for which were announced Monday.

A student of GMSSS-16, Rahul Sharma, resides in Sector 19 and helps out his father in distributing newspapers early in the morning in the city.
Still undecided about his career, he says is only aim right now is to do anything to ease his family’s financial woes.
“My father works very hard just to keep a roof over our heads. He keeps motivating me to study hard,” he says.
Talking about his achievement, he added: “It sure wasn’t a cakewalk to handle work and studies at the same time. However I count myself fortunate to get support from my teachers and family members.
I used to study hard every day and thankfully my teachers never refused to help me if I had a problem in class”.
Expressing his boundless joy, his father, Ram Prasad, said he had always had full faith in his son’s capabilities.
“Today my son has made me proud and I want him to be reach the pinnacle of success in his life”, he added.
