Unhappy with the system, UT director public instructions (schools) Kamlesh Kumar said the checking done internally by schools is not fair and there is a dire need to make changes in the current system to give equal playing field to everyone.

Echoing Kumar’s sentiments, Neelam Sharma, principal, MDAV, Sector 22, said schools tend to be lenient while marking the papers.

However, CBSE regional officer RJ Khanderao said dual system does not affect the outcome of the results. “There are guidelines which schools have to follow while making the papers and we also keep a check at our end,” said Khanderao.
