Flashfloods, house collapses kill three in Jammu division

At least three persons were killed and one was injured in Jammu division as rain continues to play havoc in the district since last evening, the police said.

A middle-aged man was swept away in flashflood in Khokyal area of Kathua district, police said adding his body had been recovered.

Also flashfloods claimed life of a teenager in Arnia belt of Jammu district, they said.In Hatli belt of Kathua district, a 6-year-old boy was killed when a mud house collapsed, police said.

While in another incident, a woman of Kaintha belt of kathua district received injuries in a house collapsed, police said adding she was hospitalised.
