The issue was raised at the very onset of question hour when BJP leader Anil Vij sought a discussion on the said issue by suspending questioning hour, but was denied permission following which party MLAs staged a walkout.

However, din gripped the House within moments later when parliamentary affairs minister Randeep Singh Surjewala in his attempt to pacify opposition MLAs also said that it was some of the office-bearers of opposition party which had been inciting the protestors in Hisar.

Even as INLD MLAs led by Ajay Chautala dared Surjewala to name the said office-bearers, the latter continued with his remarks on the issue and said that it was shocking that some people were provoking the protesting Jats in Hisar and shedding crocodile tears in the House.

Agitated over this remark, the INLD as well as BJP MLAs trooped into the well of the House and started shouting slogans like ``lathi, goli ki sarkar, nahi chalegi, nahi chalegi,(down with government of lathicharge and firing'' and ``tanashahi nahi chalegi'' (down with dictatorship).

Pandemonium prevailed for several minutes even as several members of treasury benches shouted slogans against INLD, speaker Kuldeep Sharma gave warnings and named seven MLAs of INLD - Abhey Chautala, Rampal Majra, Jagdish Nayar, Bishan Lal Saini, Subhash Chaudhary, Mohammad Iliyas, Krishan Kamboj and Anil Vij of BJP - and asked them to leave the House.

The ruckus over the issue aggravated as several opposition MLAs continued shouting anti-government slogans and the speaker took serious note of their utterance causing aspersions on the chair.

Though Leader of Opposition Om Prakash Chautala and others, who had trooped into the well, tried to justify party's stand and sought a discussion on the subject, the speaker named them all, except four INLD MLAs who were in their seats, and asked them to leave the House.

However, the House once again witnessed a din after INLD MLAs Ajay Chautala, Ashok Arora and Sher Singh Badshami, who had not been named, asked for speaker's permission to call their party members back.

On this, Surjewala held that the treasury benches would not object if Leader of Opposition himself sought the chair's permission along with guarantee that the House would not be disrupted again on the issue of Jat stir as he had already made his statement. Disagreeing with the conditions, they too walked out of the House.
