Vij claimed that all roads in the town were broken and heaps of garbage were lying everywhere, the municipal corporation is at a standstill and residents have been running from pillar to post for getting mutations, building plans approved and for registration of sale deeds.

Development projects, which were in the pipeline, were also shelved, he said, adding that the Cantt areas would see an unprecedented development the BJP will come to power in the state.
Vij said several scams have taken place during the 10-year Congress rule when the change in land use (CLUs) were on sale and thousands of acres of land of farmers was handed over to builders at a pittance.

He alleged that the chief minister was making false promises on the eve of the assembly elections without having corresponding financial provisions. Hooda has now remained only as announcement minister and the voters have seen through his gameplan and would make Haryana Congress-free, he said.

The BJP leader said the public money in crores was being spent on advertising blitzkrieg when the election code of conduct was round the corner.
