"Since 2010, the rates of petrol had been increased by Rs. 22 but we are getting the same commission which was fixed based on volume. We demand the commission on sale amount basis as a lot of capital gets involved in the trade due to increase in price," said J.P. Khanna, association president.

"We had talked to the petroleum ministry in this regard but they showed their helplessness as the prices of petroleum products are governed by the petroleum companies only," he added.

"Companies are not giving due share to the dealers which is totally unjustifiable. So all the dealers of the state had contemplated a plan to make these companies rely our demands," Khanna said.

On October 1 and 2, we would observe 'No-Purchase Day' in the state and if the companies failed to meet our demands by October 15, all the petrol pumps in the state would work for eight hours in a day thereafter, revealed Khanna.
