PPP general secretary Yadwinder Singh Buttar joins BJP
The People’s Party of Punjab (PPP) general secretary Yadwinder Singh Buttar here on Sunday joined the BJP in the presence of the BJP state president Kamal Sharma who said that this would give a boost to the saffron party in the ‘majha’ region.

Buttar, who had earlier deserted the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) for the PPP when the latter party was founded 3 years ago, said he was highly influenced by the working of the Prime Minister Narider Modi and his team in the last one year after the formation of the government at Centre.
Buttar also stated that that he was touched by the way of working of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and the “dedication and patriotism of Sangh members”

Buttar was accompanied by over 100 supporters from his Patti constituency in Tarn Taran district.
Sharma on the occasion said that the ground rooted, hard working and honest people like Buttar were always welcomed in the party. He assured Buttar that he and his supported will be given the reward for their work in the party.
