The five high level Sikh priests hold a crucial meeting to sort out the row triggered by the Dera Sacha Sauda community leader's controversial attire.

As protests continued in various cities of Punjab, five high level Sikh priests on Thursday held a crucial meeting in Bathinda to sort out the row triggered by the Dera Sacha Sauda community leader's controversial attire.

The meeting in Talwandi Sabo was attended by representatives from various Sikh bodies.

In Amritsar, a group of protesters took out a march towards the Golden Temple demanding arrest of the Dera head.
Protests were also reported from Ambala and Yamunanagar in Haryana.

Meanwhile, scores of followers of the Dera from different states were reaching Sirsa in Haryana, where the Dera head Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh would attend a meeting to plan their strategy in the wake of Thursday's meeting of Sikh priests.

On Wednesday, followers of both the groups had clashed in Patiala and New Delhi over an advertisement featuring the controversial religious order's head dressed like Sikh Guru Gobind Singh.
