The police arrested three snatchers and recovered two stolen motorcycles and three mobile phones from their possession here on Thursday.

The accused have been identified as Ravi alias Phoda and Sonu, residents of Ram Darbar; and Vinod Kumar, a resident of Hallomajra village.

The station house officer (SHO) of the Sector-31 police station, inspector Jaspal Singh said the accused were drug addicts and were released from the jail recently.
He further said they used to commit snatchings on both motorcycles that they had stolen from Sector 36.
The accused were produced in the court and were remanded in police custody.Inspector Jaspal Singh said they were confident of making more recoveries from the accused.
